Louisiana Golf Association Announces 2019 Dick and Linda Batti Scholarship

May 11, 2019 – Lafayette, Louisiana

The Louisiana Golf Association is proud to announce that the 2019 Dick and Linda Batti Scholarship will be $1,000. The scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving female high school senior who plans to attend college and participate in golf. The Batti family established the scholarship to honor golf in Louisiana and help young female golfers in their higher education.

Scholarship applications are available online now to rising seniors who will graduate from high school in 2019. The deadline for applications is June 14, 2019 at 5:00 PM. The Scholarship winner will be announced on July 9, 2019 at the LGA Girls’ Junior Amateur Pre-Championship dinner at Bayou Oaks at City Park (South Course).
