Due to Tropical Storms Marco and Laura, we have decided to re-schedule the 2020 LGA Senior Amateur and Women’s Mid-Amateur Championships. We wish everyone the best as we brace for the impending storms. See below for pertinent details and a message for all the players who were registered for these events:
• The re-scheduled Senior Amateur dates are Thursday-Saturday, November 5-7, 2020 at Koasati Pines at Coushatta in Kinder, LA. The Women’s Mid-Amateur will be conducted Thursday and Friday, November 5 & 6. Practice rounds for both championships will be held on Wednesday, November 4.
• We will not accept additional entries for the Senior Amateur. We currently have a full field and a waiting list. If we receive any withdraws, we will go down the waiting list in order to fill the spot(s). We will accept new entries for the Women’s Mid-Amateur so please let your friends know that registration is available again until 10/12/20 at 5 PM.
• If the new dates present a conflict that will not allow you to participate, we will be pleased to accept your withdrawal and refund your entry fee. We must receive that notification by Monday, October 12, 2020 at 5:00 PM. Any withdrawal notification received after 10/12/20 at 5 PM, will not receive a refund. Please email Jacob Oaks, joaks@lgagolf.org, if you must withdraw.
Since you have already registered and paid for your entry, if you choose to remain in the competition, we will keep your entry and credit it toward the new dates. Players with active entries should NOT withdraw online as that will not result in a full refund. If you elect to withdraw prior to Monday, October 12 at 5 PM, a full refund will be automatically refunded to your credit card. If you signed up via hard copy entry and sent a check in the mail, then a reimbursement check will be issued to you and processed within 7-10 business days of your indication that you wish to withdraw.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you made lodging arrangements at the Coushatta Casino Resort, don’t forget to cancel and/or transfer your reservation to the new dates.
