Please read this update on LGA policies and events as related to the COVID-19 virus situation.
In light of the national emergency to decrease the spread of the COVID-19 virus and per the Louisiana Stay at Home Order issued by Governor Edwards, Louisiana Golf Association staff will continue working remotely until May 18, 2020. Our concern is with the health and safety of the community, our LGA staff, members and volunteer leadership. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make this decision.
Given the fluid nature of the Coronavirus, we will be following the recommended positions of those monitoring the situation most closely:

The LGA’s management team will be making determinations about reopening the office and upcoming LGA events on a week-to-week basis. In the meantime, the following scheduled activities have been re-scheduled or postponed:
RESCHEDULED: LGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship at Atchafalaya GC in Patterson.
– New dates are October 17-18, 2020.
POSTPONED: LGA Women’s Mid-Amateur and LGA Men’s Senior Amateur Championships at Koasati Pines at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder. The LGA plans to conduct these events in late summer / early fall of 2020 and will make an announcement as soon as the rescheduled dates are final.
CANCELLED: All LGA Amateur Championship Qualifiers. We will accept a field of 144 and registration is open on a first come first served basis until a full field is reached. Players may apply to play in the 101st Louisiana Amateur Championship at Bayou Oaks at City Park (South Course), June 11-14, via this link: https://www.golfgenius.com/pages/2349981. The LGA members affected by the events listed above have been notified. At this time, we are still planning to conduct all other events this season as scheduled.
