Please read this update on LGA policies and events as related to the COVID-19 virus situation.
In light of the national emergency to decrease the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Louisiana Golf Association staff will begin working remotely the week of March 16-20, 2020. Our concern is with the health and safety of the community, our LGA staff, members and volunteer leadership. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make this decision.
Given the fluid nature of the Coronavirus, we will be following the recommended positions of those monitoring the situation most closely:

LGA’s management team will be making determinations about reopening the office and upcoming LGA events on a week-to-week basis. In the meantime, the following scheduled activities have been re-scheduled or cancelled:
RESCHEDULED: LGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship at Atchafalaya GC in Patterson.
– New dates are October 17-18, 2020.
– MARCH 26 – WHS Handicap Certification Seminar, Country Club of Louisiana
The LGA members affected by the events listed above have been notified. At this time, we are still planning to conduct all other events this season as scheduled.
