In that Championship Hal Wright of Shreveport and Wade Botts of Marksville won the Championship in a playoff over Tim Melancon and Lindsey Spiller of Baton Rouge. Both teams shot rounds of even par 72 and three under par 69. Hal Wright made birdie on the first playoff hole after hitting his second shot on the par 4 18th hole to 1 foot.
