Lafayette, Louisiana – The Louisiana Golf Association (LGA) takes immense pride in announcing and honoring Bayou DeSiard Country Club (BDCC), Lake Charles Country Club (LCCC), and Metairie Country Club (MCC) as premier “anchor sites” for multiple LGA Championships in coming years. Through our collaboration with these remarkable clubs, we aspire to continue our pivotal role in fostering exceptional golf championships across Louisiana, and honor our commitment to the continued growth and excellence of the game.

Bayou DeSiard Country Club (BDCC) is set to make golfing history as it takes on the honor of hosting the 33rd Louisiana Mid-Amateur in 2025 and the prestigious 109th Louisiana Amateur in 2028. Notably, with the 33rd Louisiana Mid-Amateur, BDCC is set to achieve a remarkable milestone, surpassing all others by hosting the most LGA Championships of all time, totaling an impressive 31 events. This accomplishment would eclipse the longstanding record held by Shreveport Country Club, solidifying BDCC’s legacy as a premier destination for golf championships in Louisiana.

Lake Charles Country Club (LCCC) has stood as a beacon of Southern excellence since its establishment in 1919. Renowned for possessing one of the finest conditioned championship golf courses in Southwest Louisiana, LCCC will be preparing to host the 96th Louisiana Women’s Amateur in 2024, the 37th Louisiana Senior Amateur in 2026, and the 36th Louisiana Mid-Amateur in 2028, as the course continues to set the standard for excellence in golf and southern hospitality.

Metairie Country Club (MCC), originally established exclusively as a golf club, has acquired praise for its innovative course design since its inception. Each hole, meticulously crafted as a replica from either a Scottish or American course, epitomizes the unique approach that catapulted the club into the spotlight. This traditionally cultivated course is set to host the 107th Louisiana Amateur in 2026 and the landmark 100th Louisiana Women’s Amateur in 2028. The pioneering spirit that MCC imparts to players not only showcases the site’s deep reverence for the game but also embodies a legacy of excellence, solidifying its status as a cherished destination for golfers all over the state.

The collaborative commitment among this trio of clubs to host reflects not only the inherent quality of their facilities but also their endorsement of the Louisiana Golf Association’s (LGA) mission. These esteemed venues have consistently demonstrated their support for the LGA by graciously hosting championships in the past and are steadfastly continuing this support into the future.
