146 players competed in the final round of the 41st Louisiana Four-Ball Championship held at Southern Trace Country Club. Tee times began this morning at 7:30 AM off the 1st and 10th tees, with the first flight beginning in the afternoon at 12:00 PM.

Shreveport, LA – Jacob Wyatt of Bossier City and Eric Regard of Shreveport showcased exceptional skill and teamwork to secure a commanding wire-to-wire victory at the 41st Louisiana Four-Ball Championship held at Southern Trace Country Club. Their outstanding performance throughout the tournament resulted in a total score of 127 over 36 holes, finishing at an impressive 17-under par and one stroke shy of the all time scoring record. Wyatt and Regard set the pace with a 9-under par in the first round, maintaining their lead at 8-under par in the final round. The duo’s consistency kept them at the top of the leaderboard, ultimately earning them the championship title.

Jeremy Jeansonne and Chase Leone of Shreveport moved up the rankings to claim the runner-up position. They carded a 67 in the first round, and fired a bogey-free 62 on Sunday, the lowest round of the tournament. Jeansonne’s play included three birdies on the front nine and one eagle, finishing with a nice eagle on the 18th hole. Leone had an impressive back 9 with 4 birdies. 

Grant Reagan and James Holtsclaw of Shreveport maintained a strong presence throughout, securing third place with 8-under par in the final round. Fourth place went to David Rogenmoser of Boyce and Chuck Spears of Pineville. Nicholas Wright of Shreveport and Landen East of Sulphur tied for fifth place with Andrew Starkey and Joe Gerrity of New Orleans. Wright and East won fifth place after a scorecard playoff, demonstrating their competitive edge

During their final round, Wyatt and Regard continued to impress with a strategic game plan, securing three birdies on the front nine and adding two more on the back nine. Wyatt’s highlight moment came on the 16th hole, where he made a hole-in-one with a 9 iron at 172 yards.

The winner of our Flighted Division is Shane Fontenot and Corey Theriot of Lake Charles at three-under par after winning in a scorecard playoff against Schulyer Cotten of Baton Rouge and Randy Koles of Walker.

A skins game was also held during today’s final round with Jacob Wyatt yet again being the sole winner. Wyatt’s hole in one on hole 16 secured this additional victory. In addition to the first rounds skins, Wyatt gets to add more money to his wallet.
