Williams and Artieta Win 23rd Louisiana Four-Ball Championship

24 players competed in the first round of the 23rd Louisiana Women’s Four-Ball Championship held at Golf Club at Stonebridge in Bossier City, Louisiana . Tee times began as a shotgun start off of holes 15-18 and hole one this morning at 8:00 AM. The course played to a par 72 at 5,209 yards for the overall field.

Bossier City, LA – The official champions of the 23rd Louisiana Women’s Four-Ball Championship are Maci Williams of Brusly and Evelynn Artieta of Denham Springs with a 13-under par finish to take home the trophy. This team had an exceptional round of golf today after not only going bogey-free, but also carded in five birdies and one eagle as a team. They came to play today to close the gap that was between them and runner-ups Abigail McWilliams of Benton and Grace Goodwin of Bossier City who finished the tournament at 10-under par. Finishing in third place is Kie McNabb of DeRidder and Amanda Rothrock of Baton Rouge at eight-under par.

There are also three flighted divisions for this championship.  The following are the champions for each division:

  5. April Prestenbach and Thelma Price (-4)
