20 teams competed in the final round of the 22nd Louisiana Women’s Four-Ball Championship. The course played to a par 72 at 5,154 yards.
Sarah Hodson of Raceland and Catherine Hodson of Baton Rouge won the 22nd Louisiana Women’s Four-Ball Championship at Koasati Pines on Sunday. Sarah and Catherine were tied for first place after round 1 with Julie Harrison of Baton Rouge and Kie McNabb of Deridder with a score of 4 under par 68. It was a tough battle all day on Sunday between the top two teams. Sarah and Catherine finished strong with a 3 under par 33 on the final nine holes to shoot the Championship low round of 6 under par 66 to finish at 10 under par 134. Maci Williams of Brusly and Evelynn Artieta of Denham Springs also shot a 6 under par 66 on Sunday to finish in solo third place at 7 under par 137.
The LGA also conducts a Net division in its Women’s Four-Ball Championship in which all teams were pre-flighted based upon the September 1, 2023 World Handicap System revision. Per the USGA recommendations for players in a four-ball stroke play competition, course handicaps were adjusted to a 85% handicap allowance. Below are the results for the flighted divisions:
