Batti Scholarship

LGA Dick and Linda Batti Scholarship

The LGA Batti Scholarship was established to assist young female golfers from Louisiana with the objective of helping in their higher education. The goal is to provide a one-time $1,500 grant to a young female golfer to help with college expenses.

Application Deadline: June 20, 2025

Eligibility Requirements

– Be a female, Louisiana resident, AND member of the LGA.

– Be a graduating senior who has shown academic excellence, good citizenship, good sportsmanship, and community involvement.

– Be an active participant in LGA events, including the Girls’ Junior Amateur and Louisiana Junior Golf Tour.

– Have an interest in the game of golf, even though she may not intend to play golf on her college team.

Application Instructions

Submit the following:

1. Letter of recommendation

2. Filled out application form

3. Summary of your golf career to this point

4. A letter explaining why you deserve the Batti Scholarship and how it will help you in college.
