GENERAL CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION
| The LGA conducts eight (8) state championships each year as well as six (6) USGA qualifying events. LGA members are welcome to participate in any of the championships if they have a current USGA Handicap Index through their LGA member club and they meet the eligibility requirements. Our flagship event, the Amateur Championship, has been conducted by the Louisiana Golf Association since 1920. The most recent tournament to be added to our schedule is the Net Amateur Championship, which was established in 2000. |
