We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these challenging times. We know you are ready to return to competitive golf and so are we! We’ve made a few revisions to the 2020 LJGT season, but we are pleased that we are still going to be able to provide eight first-class championships for LJGT members this summer, with zero cancellations. More information on how we plan to conduct these competitions and protect everyone involved will be sent to participants and parents prior to each event…. As we enter into different phases of opening up Louisiana, things continually evolve and we will be ready to act.
See below for pertinent details:
- The LJGT event at Squire Creek has been rescheduled for Saturday-Sunday, August 15-16, 2020. The new deadline will be 5PM Tuesday, August 11, 2020 (AJGA performance stars available).
- Registration for all LJGT events is now available on a first come first served basis (including LJGT at U Club). All events have limited fields so be sure to register now to ensure your spot!
- The LJGT at U Club replaces the Tour Championship. Player of the Year awards will be determined at the conclusion of the Crawfish Classic at Lake Charles CC, August 29-30.
- The Gulf States PGA Junior Championship will be held at Northwood CC in Meridian, MS on June 17th. This is now a one-day event with a reduced entry fee. Extra precautions will be made to provide a safe and successful tournament.
- The first opportunity for LJGT members to compete in Louisiana will be the 63rd Junior Amateur Championship at Links on the Bayou, July 8-10, 2020 (AJGA stars available).
