The LGA Batti Scholarship was established to assist young female golfers from Louisiana with the objective of helping in their higher education. The goal is to provide a one-time $1,500 grant to a young female golfer to help with college expenses.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Be a female Louisiana resident and member of the LGA.
2. Be a graduating senior who has shown academic excellence, good citizenship, good sportsmanship, and community involvement.
3. Be an active participant in LGA events, including the Girls’ Junior Amateur and Louisiana Junior Golf Tour.
4. Have an interest in the game of golf, even though she may not intend to play golf on her college team.
Application Instructions
Please include one letter of recommendation and a brief synopsis of your golf career to this point. Also please include a letter explaining to the Batti Scholarship Committee why you are interested in being the 2022 recipient and how it can help you attain your goals in college. 2022 applications must be received by 5 PM, Friday, May 27, 2022.
